Who we support
GlobalARRK supports single parent families who are unable to return to the country they consider ‘home’ after the other parent does not give permission for their children to move.
Almost all ‘stuck parents’ are primary carer mothers and survivors of domestic abuse. Typically they struggle to remain living in the ‘stuck’ country – experiencing poverty, isolation, post separation abuse, homelessness, lack of immigration status and mental health issues as a result of these challenging circumstances.
If you are in this situation, our friendly and supportive team would love to help you find a way through. Many of us have been ‘stuck’ and come out the other side wanting to help others.
How to get support:
- Email us: info@globalarrk.org or fill in our Contact Form
- We will be in touch via email Monday – Thursday to see how we can help
If you or your children are in an unsafe situation please contact your local Domestic Abuse organisation or the local police as we are not able to act as an emergency service.
